History:

In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) there were two prominent tribes in the city of Madinah, besides the Banu Awas and Banu Khazraj. The Jewish tribes included Banu-qanqa'ah, Benu-Nazir, Benu-Sidah, Benu-Harith, Benu-Jashm, Benu-Najar and Benu-Qurayza.

There was a 120-year-long war between the powerful tribes of Bannu Aus and Bin Khazraj from the 610s.

Migration to Medina 622 AD:

In 622, Prophet Muhammad and his associates emigrated to Medina, fed up with the atrocities of the disbelievers of Mecca.
