Taj Mahal:
Taj Mahal is a tomb located in the Agra-India. It was built by
the Mughal king Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal (Shah Jahan's Wife). The Taj Mahal is an
excellent model of Mughal style. Its architectural style is a unique blend of
Persian, Turkish, Indian and Islamic style components. In-1983, the-Taj-Mahal
was considered a World-Heritage-Site by the United Nations Institute for
Education, Science and Culture. At the same time it was described as one of the
best buildings, receiving a comprehensive appreciation of World Heritage. The
Taj Mahal has also been called a practical and rare model of Islamic art in
India. It was completed in about 1648. Ustad Ahmad Lahori is generally regarded
as the architect.
Built Of Taj Mahal:
Tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, wife of Mughal king Shah Jahan,
located in the Agra-India. It is said that an Iranian engineer, Isa Shirazi, is
said to have drawn the map, but the king's inscription states that Shah Jehan
himself designed it. The building was completed in 25 years from 1632 to 1650.
Its construction cost only four and a half million rupees and twenty thousand
builders and laborers participated in its completion. All the building is of
marble. Its length and width are 130 feet and the height is 200 feet. The
marble walls of the building are made of beautiful mosaic with colored stones.
The verses of the Qur'an are immersed in the mosaic inside and outside the
tomb. There is a minaret on all four corners of the building. The building's
pavement, which is 7 meters above the ground, is of red color. At its back the
river flows freeze and in the front, there is a pool under the chair. There are
fountains and a beautiful Mughal style garden, inside this tomb are the tombs
of Queen Mumtaz Mahal and Shahjahan.
Tourism:
Every year, 3 million people visit this historic monument.
This is the highest number of visitors to any tourist destination in India. The
Taj Mahal is a great masterpiece of Mughal period architecture and is a unique
building that has been the focus of tourists worldwide since its inception.
This everlasting sign of love has been a source of inspiration for poets,
writers, artists and artists, but is in fact a tomb. In 1874, British tourist
Edward Lair said. The inhabitants of the world can be divided into two parts -
the one who visited the Taj Mahal and the other who missed it.
Today Taj Mahal:
Due to the increasing air pollution in Agra, this great
monument of love has turned white. This was stated in a report submitted to the
Indian Parliament in May 2007. The report said that the increasing air
pollution in Agra damaged the glowing white marble of the Taj Mahal. Pollution
is affecting the true beauty of this historic monument. The report recommends
cleaning the Taj Mahal and preserving the marble in its original form.
Taj Mahal is a Wonder:
The Taj Mahal of Agra was also included in seven modern-day
wonders set in 2007 by an international competition.
